What the extension does

Crew Booking Copy for ServiceM8 duplicates booking crews to another day on the ServiceM8 Dispatch Board, preserving staff assignments and booking duration.

Information used

The extension processes staff names and identifiers, job and booking identifiers, scheduling dates and times, and linked material identifiers. It reads relevant Dispatch Board content and responds to scheduling clicks and keyboard shortcuts.

It does not collect general browsing history or track activity on unrelated websites.

API key and storage

Your ServiceM8 API key is sent directly to ServiceM8 over HTTPS to authenticate requests.

You can keep your key for the browser session, save it on your computer, or choose to sync it between computers through your Chrome account. When sync is enabled, Google handles the synchronisation through Chrome’s storage service. The extension does not add its own encryption to stored keys.

Credentials are restricted to the extension’s trusted components and are not supplied to the Dispatch Board webpage.

Connection preferences and booking-copy history are stored in extension storage. Copy history includes booking identifiers and scheduling details to help prevent duplicate bookings.

Sharing and use

Information is used only to provide the booking-copy feature. Relevant information is exchanged with ServiceM8 and, when selected, Google’s Chrome sync service.

The extension does not send information to a separate publisher-operated server. Information is not sold, used for advertising or analytics, or used to determine creditworthiness.

Removing information

Disconnecting removes the saved connection credentials. When sync is enabled, this removal reaches other connected computers as Chrome synchronises.

Disconnecting does not remove booking-copy history or bookings already created in ServiceM8. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage. Disconnect before uninstalling if you also want to remove the synced API key.

Records created in ServiceM8 remain subject to ServiceM8’s retention and privacy policies.
